01. for how long have you been drawing?
since i was a kid. even though i don't consider myself a very good artist, i know i've improved quite a bit. i couldn't have done it without the constant inspiration from various talented artists all over.

02. what programs do you use to color?
usually adobe photoshop CS or opencanvas or a mixture of both. sometimes i use painter 8, when it doesn't decide to spaz out on my computer.

03. what's a CG?
CG stands for "computer generated". basically it refers to pictures colored / drawn on the computer, usually with the help of a tablet. people tend to use it as a verb (i.e. i cg'ed this pic yesterday) as much as they use it as a noun / adjective.

04. ok. so what's a tablet?
a tablet is a device connected to the computer that allows you to digitally draw on the computer like you would with a pen on paper. i use a wacom intuos for my pictures. check out wacom for details.

05. what do you use to build your site?
i do things the long way. first i use frontpage to get the skeleton for my site, (i'm too lazy to type out the tags and whatnot individually), then i remove redundant tags / clean up the code manually in notepad. due to work, i am now more accustomed to using dreamweaver. it is awesomesauce.

06. what's with the animal people?
like a lot of artists, it started with the sonic fandom stage. it slowly evovled to the 'furry art' stage, and now even though i'm used to drawing them, i can't say i'm not weirded out by the idea. it was just a natural transition for my art (especially when i started getting influenced by other online artists).

07. hey it's cool, i draw animal people too. how about a request / trade / commission?
sorry, i'm afraid i don't do any of those at the moment.

08. can i draw your characters?

misc questions
here are the questions you asked (using that form below)!

01. How in the world did you get your radio blog to work? X3 I've been trying to get mine to work for weeks but still nothing. I'm probably missig something right? O.o (from Meg)

1. download the zip file at the radioblog website.

2. open the creat.sound folder. paste the mp3s you wish to include inside your radioblog inside this folder, and double click on convert64.bat

3. when the program is done running, your rbs files will be found in the creat.sound/sounds folder. these are the files that you have to upload to your website, not the mp3 files.

4. configure config.xml to your liking (change colors, size of the radioblog etc). also type find the corresponding line and type this: <playlist path="sounds/playlist.php" />

5. in a file transfer client, create a folder for your radioblog files (ie "radioblog").

6. in the newly created folder, upload the files found in the zip file you downloaded (found in the radio.blog folder). (ie the files config.xml, index.php, radioblog.swf, rbcore.swf, version.ini, etc)

7. in the newly created folder, create a folder within this folder. call it "sounds". upload those rbs files you created earlier into this new folder. also, upload the file playlist.php (found in radio.blog/sounds) into this folder.

8. that's pretty much it. just keep uploading your rbs files into the sound folder you created to update the radioblog.

02. when's your birthday? X3;
huar huar ...the elusive birthday. tis oct 24.

03. where do you get inspiration for your pictures? what do you use as reference?
there are a bunch of fellow artists that are an inspiration to me, and most of them i have linked to under the links to other artists section :3. as for reference, i don't usually use any.. i just keep sketching until i'm satisfied with what i see X3.

04. The anatomy you use on your character's bodies is really good. can you recomend any books or artists on the web that may help me with bodies?
hrm, i don't think i can be of any real help here. i've never studied anatomy, nor looked at an anatomy book before. however, i do think that this online tutorial by julie dillon is quite helpful for anyone having trouble with anatomy drawing.

05. I've been drawing FOREVER, but I can never get the right pose or style with my characters, and all I draw are animal people. You're my idol because you draw so good, how do you do it?
i experiment with style from time to time, just a bit to give the images more 'flair'.

06. what gave you the ideas of making Mellie?
she was originally a sonic-based fan character i created in '97 or so, and i've changed her design so many times since then.. this is just the result of that :3

07. How many fans do you think you have?
